Does CBD Help Autism?

People are treating their children with autism

I have been reading up on this topic. Does CBD help autism. I am not writing this to recommend treatment for your loved one with autism. The intent is for you to get more information on this subject. Risperdal (risperidone) is the number one drug prescribed to children with autism to treat irritability. Risperdal is the only drug approved by the FDA to treat autism spectrum. It is prescribed to children ages 5 to 16.

Risperdal vs CBD Oil

You may be wondering what you should try. Risperdal has been prescribed for children who show irritability with their autism. Risperdal is also prescribed for patients with schizophrenia and bi-polar mania.

Side effects for Risperdal include sedation, blurred vision, anxiety, vomiting, dizziness, tremor, dry mouth, constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, nasal congestion, rash. The list goes on, upper respiratory tract infection, salivary hyper secretion, increased mortality in older patients, metabolic changes, seizures, priapism, and stroke. The list goes on and on.

In contrast, the side effects for CBD oil according to the Mayo Clinic can be dry mouth, diarrhea, fatigue, drowsiness, and a reduced appetite. CBD may react with other medications like blood thinners. That’s it? What a difference.

Benefits that have been reported include anxiety relief, stress relief, pain relief, supports healthy blood sugar levels, supports regeneration of healthy cells, aids in digestion, promotes healthy energy levels, supports optimal immune function, and promotes overall feelings of serenity and well being. The things that I have experienced as a pain sufferer are, relief from joint pain, relaxation, stress relief, and a better sleep every night.

How Does CBD Help Autism?

The claims are not my own. There are several accounts of people treating their children with autism.

The most popular one on YouTube is the family that took their little boy from Utah to Nevada, so they could try it out under careful supervision. Apparently (they say) the laws in Nevada allow them to give CBD Oil to their child, whereas the laws in Utah did not. The effects that they saw were enough to make them believers, and although they didn’t continue treatments. They noticed a big difference especially in the child’s ability to stay alert and not feel sedated. The family put this video out in an attempt to get other states to notice and review testing in an effort to get the laws changed.

If this interests you, you may research if you live in a state that allows CBD Oil, or CBD Gummies, or other products to be given to you child. It may also be beneficial to adults that fall under the spectrum.

Find out for yourself

The great thing that I have found is that you can try it for yourself, and see how you react first. This way you will know more of what to expect before trying it on your loved one. Again I am not in any way telling you that you should try this without a recommendation from the doctor. As I have mentioned in other articles that I have published, you need to find the right Cbd oil products. Many labeled products have been tested by countless medical organization, news teams, and independent lab researchers. Out of those tested their are some that don’t contain the amount of CBD oil listed in the contents. Others have actually had no CBD oil, and some contain THC which in its own right may be good, but it is probably not what you are looking for to help with the things that I have listed.

I have found a company that sells the best quality CBD products that I have come across so far. All products on their site are third party lab tested. They are also GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) certified. All of their products come with a 60 day, empty bottle, money back guarantee. That’s not all, Their products are made only from the hemp plant, grown and processed in the U.S.A.

CBD is being studied for a variety of treatments

CBD oil is now being studied to treat patients with multiple sclerosis, seizures, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, schizophrenia, and even ALS. They have made a prescription brand of CBD oil called Epidiolex. Epidiolex is currently prescribed to patients with two types of epilepsy.

Thank you for your attention

I wish you all the best, and I am almost positive that you have made the right choice as far as trying the best CBD products on the market. 1. Hey Gene. This was a very interesting and in-depth discussion about the effect CBD has on Autism.

I think that it might help some while it might not help others. With Autism being varied in levels and severity, I don’t think there is a one size fits all answer.

But my question is, is it safe to give to a child with Autism? What are your thoughts? Of course, not recommending anyone medically as you said before in this article.

    • Marlinda, Thank you for your concern. By law, I am not allowed to recommend our products for anyone under the age of 18.  Please bookmark my page and watch the video on youtube “Boy with autism treated with CBD Oil.”

  2. This is an interesting topic.  My step son is autistic and his mother started using him using CBD oil several months ago.  I honestly cannot say this has had any effect on his stereotypic behaviors but they haven’t become any worse.  He is also on a strict gluten free diet and has been since he was 3 years old (20 years ago).

I would say it is the combination of diet and CBD oil has had a positive effect on his overall behavior.  I’m not sure what brand she uses but I will certainly forward this information to her!

    • Thank you Susan, I might recommend our 10xPure 1500mg. CBD Oil. It is considered to be 3 years ahead of the rest.  That is , if you are saying he is at least 18 years old.  It is also the best for inflammation and joint pain.  We have had a lot of extra research done with 10xPure.  https://myctfo.me/genohempster

  3. Your article is very compelling. Although every medication can have undesirable side effects, test results are proving that CBD Oil has far less. My feeling is that Big Pharma doesn’t like that since they cannot patent CBD and THC compounds.

I like how you brought up disorders like autism that manifest itself in children and stay with them throughout life. Anything that can treat children with less risk is worth looking into. Your comparison of Risperdal with CBD Oil was very dramatic. Just the fact that there were less side effects made it worth looking into CBD Oil. There are many more childhood ailments that have hope provided with the research going into the use of CBD Oil as a possible way for treatment.

You offered an option to purchase CBD Oil through CTFO. I also represent CTFO and think that is a great option. I wish you much success in your CBD Affiliate Marketing efforts.
